Welcome to The Woolgathering Diaries!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my new blog. 

Woolgathering is a space I have dreamt up to share my love for knitwear, natural fibres and slow, sustainable fashion. 

The name "Woolgathering" comes from an old word that originally meant collecting loose tufts of wool from hedgerows, but eventually came to mean: daydreaming. This blog is where my thoughts wander around the hemisphere of sustainable style. Expect honest chats about the fashion industry; reflections on craftsmanship, creativity and slow living; stories behind my knitwear creations; and practical thoughts on making more conscious wardrobe choices. In today’s fast-paced world, taking moments to woolgather invites us to pause and reflect. Providing a much-needed respite, offering a space for introspection, discovery and connection. 

I started this blog to share my journey in building my sustainable knitwear brand. I believe in being honest when you don’t know or understand something and being open to learning because you can’t know everything right away. Over the past year, as I’ve worked on my brand, I’ve learned so much that once felt overwhelming or intimidating, but with time and patience, now feels like second nature. I’m excited to share those lessons with you as I continue to grow.
