Big News: I Won Best Green Business!

Picture this: I'm at the Crowne Plaza in Belfast, tucked away at the very back of the room, woolgathering about the most delicious brownie I just devoured. And then suddenly, my name is called...

"The Winner of Best Green Business is... Caitlin McCracken from Caitlin McCracken Knitwear."

What?!

I’m absolutely over the moon to share that I’ve been awarded Best Green Business at the Women in Business NI Awards 2025! I’m still in disbelief. To receive such a prestigious award is an incredible honour, and I’m beyond grateful to the judges for selecting me.

This recognition means so much, especially when most days, I’m cooped up in my studio, knitting orders and managing every part of my business solo. As a one-woman show, it can sometimes feel isolating. But this moment reminded me that what I do does matter. It gave me the boost I didn’t even know I needed.

So, thank you to everyone who has supported me- whether you’ve purchased a piece, shared a kind word, or simply followed my journey.

This award isn’t just for me, it’s for every small, sustainable, creative business trying to make an impact.
